Internet Marketing Seminar – September 2010

To help launch this new website, we will be running a hands on internet marketing workshop on the Sunshine Coast, Saturday, 25th September 2010.  If you own a small business and either have a website or want a website AND you want to take control of your website so that you can actively use it to create more business, this workshop is for you.

The workshop will be broken up into 3 main sections, and each section we believe is essential to running a successful website for your business.  Here’s what we’re going to share:

1. Understanding Keywords – What are keywords and why are they so important in internet marketing? What are the right keywords to make your website a success?  And, most importantly, what do you do with your keywords, once you know what they are? And once you’ve got the basics under control, you’ll learn how to spy on your top performing competitors so that you can get the edge and build an evergrowing stream of highly targeted traffic to your website.
2. Taking Control Of Your Website – Creating and managing your website content using wordpress for blogging and as a CMS.  How to best make use of text, photos, audio and video so that the search engines give you loads of FREE and targeted traffic.  Learn the golden rules of search engine optimisation that most people are too lazy to put into effect, and what simple steps you must take to put your website to the top of the search results.
3. Integrated Online and Offline Marketing – Build your brand identity and learn how to drive even more highly target traffic to your website from offline using promotional products for your business.  Simple ideas for small business that don’t have to cost an arm and a leg.

When we sat down to plan the workshop, we thought about we haven’t liked about workshops that we’ve been to in the past, and decided to do the opposite.  As a result, we’ve decided to make this a very hands on workshop.  We want to show you exactly what works for us and answer your questions along the way.

The format we’ve come up with is quite simple really, our presenters will explain the concepts, demonstrate how it works and work you through the processes step by step, while you learn how to turn your website into a powerful marketing tool for your business.
