How Pro compares
Several plugins can copy a site onto another, and most let you choose which tables to copy. What Pro does differently is the moment you go live: it is the only one of these that lists what the live site has gained since your copy was made (new orders, members, posts and files) before you send, and it suggests which tables to keep. The live site only stores what arrives until an administrator reviews the plan, and afterwards you choose Keep or Roll back. Frequently asked questions
How long does the launch price last?
Buy before 30 April 2027 and you pay half price every year, for as long as you keep renewing. If you let a licence lapse and buy again later, it is at the price of the day.
What do I get with a lifetime licence?
Pro on the number of sites you choose, paid once, with updates and support for as long as Site Replica Pro is sold. There are only 100, across all three sizes.
I’m switching from another plugin. Is there a deal?
Yes. Our comparison with your current plugin has a switching code that takes 30% off for as long as you renew: start with how to push a staging site to live without losing orders, which links them all. Codes don’t combine, so during the launch offer the launch price is the better deal.
What happens if I stop renewing?
The Pro features keep working on the sites where they are active. You stop getting updates and priority support, but a backup tool should never switch itself off, so your sites and their backups are never held hostage.
Can’t I do the same thing with the free plugin?
Partly, yes. The free plugin can put a whole copy onto the live site: back the copy up to Google Drive or S3, then download that backup on the live site and restore it (or pull it, if the copy is online). What it can’t do is keep anything of the live site’s own. A free restore replaces everything, so the orders, members, comments and form entries that arrived while you worked on the copy are gone. Pro’s send is built for that moment: “What changed” shows what the live site has gained since your copy was made, you choose the tables it keeps, only the files it doesn’t already have are uploaded, and the copy goes straight from your computer to the live site with no cloud storage in between.
Does a copy on my own computer use a licence?
No. A copy on your own computer never uses one of the sites you paid for: localhost, or an address ending .test, .local or .dev. Neither does a staging copy online, as long as its address is clearly a staging one: staging.yoursite.com, dev.yoursite.com, or your host’s own staging address (WP Engine, Kinsta, Cloudways, GoDaddy, Pantheon and others). A copy at an ordinary address, such as yoursite-new.com, counts as a site. You can move a licence from one site to another from the plugin’s Account page.
Do I need Pro on both sites to send a backup?
Yes. Sending needs Pro active on the copy you send from and on the live site that receives it, but the copy on your computer or at a staging address doesn’t use a licence, so one live site needs one licence.
Does Pro replace the free plugin?
Yes. Pro installs in the same place as the free plugin and keeps its settings, connections and backups. Everything the free plugin does keeps working, licence or not.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere but your own sites and your own cloud storage. Backups travel directly between your sites, encrypted, or to the Google Drive or S3 storage you connect. There is no AccessNow service in between.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Every plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Which currency are the prices in?
