Deciding between Site Replica Pro vs All-in-One WP Migration? Both can move a whole WordPress site from one install to another, push and pull between linked sites, and leave some tables out. They are built for different days, though, and are priced very differently. Here is how they compare, with the places where each one comes out ahead.
Who each tool suits
All-in-One WP Migration (from ServMask) suits people who move and back up many sites: its Pro plan covers up to 50 sites, backs up to more than 15 cloud providers, and can push one site to many at once. It is used by millions of sites.
Site Replica Pro suits site owners, freelancers and agencies putting a redesign onto a live site that kept taking orders, members and form entries while the redesign was being built.
Side by side
| All-in-One WP Migration Pro | Site Replica Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Price per year | US$99 for up to 50 sites; more than 50 by quote | US$29.50 for 1 site, US$49.50 for 10, US$99.50 unlimited (launch prices until 30 April 2027; normally US$59, US$99 and US$199) |
| Push a local copy live | Yes, push and pull between linked sites (Pro on both) | Yes (Pro on both; local and staging copies don’t use a licence) |
| Keep live data | Partial migrations: include or exclude tables, or pull specific posts | Choose tables, with people’s data suggested |
| See what changed on live before sending | Not found | Yes: What changed report |
| Review and roll back | Not found | Plan reviewed by an administrator, then Keep or Roll back |
| Vendor servers in between | No, direct between linked sites | No, direct |
| Multisite | Separate Multisite extension, US$319 a year for up to 50 sites (includes Unlimited, not Pro) | Back up only; network restore not supported yet |
All-in-One WP Migration is sold as separate add-ons. The figures above come from its Pro page and its Multisite extension page, and the table options from its guide to partial migrations. The Unlimited extension on its own, which only lifts the size limit, is US$69. Local development sites don’t count towards its site limit.
Where All-in-One WP Migration is better
- Many sites for one price. US$99 covers up to 50 sites. If you look after dozens of sites, that is a lot of coverage per dollar.
- Cloud choice. Pro backs up to more than 15 cloud providers. Site Replica supports Google Drive and S3-compatible storage (Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi and others).
- One to many. It can push one site to many sites at once.
- Pulling chosen posts, and WP-CLI. Partial migrations can pull specific posts, and Pro includes WP-CLI for scripting.
- Multisite. There is a Multisite extension. Site Replica can back up a network but can’t restore one yet.
Where Site Replica Pro is different
- It shows what the live site has gained. What changed compares the live site now with the backup your copy was made from: new and edited posts and pages, new users and comments, tables that have gained rows, and files added, changed or removed. That is the list of what a push would overwrite.
- It suggests what to keep. When a sent backup arrives, users, comments, and the orders, memberships and form entries of the plugins it recognises, such as WooCommerce, MemberPress and Gravity Forms, are already ticked to stay as the live site has them.
- Review, then Keep or Roll back. Sending only stores the backup on the live site. An administrator there reviews the plan, types the site’s address and confirms. Afterwards, Roll back puts the previous site back exactly, with no time limit on deciding.
- Made for strict shared hosting. Backups are pulled in small, resumable, encrypted pieces, so nothing large is written on the live server, and a send uploads only the files the live site doesn’t already have.
- One plan, priced by sites. There are no separate extensions to combine: sending, keeping tables, partial restores, a copy before every update and incremental cloud backups are all in every Pro plan.
What Site Replica Pro doesn’t do
To be fair about our own side too, a few limits are worth knowing before launch day:
- Settings always come from your copy. The options table is deliberately not offered for keeping, because a redesign whose settings didn’t come with it is not a redesign.
- The suggestion knows the common plugins, not all of them. A bespoke table your developer added years ago needs ticking by hand; What changed shows it if it has gained rows.
- Sending needs Pro on both sites, plus HTTPS and enough free disk on the live site. A copy on your own computer or at a staging address doesn’t use a licence, so one live site still needs only one.
Which should you choose?
Choose All-in-One WP Migration if you move or back up many sites, want a wide choice of cloud storage, need to push one site to several, or run multisite networks.
Choose Site Replica Pro if launch day on a shop, membership or busy enquiry site is the job, and you want to see what you are about to overwrite, keep people’s data, and have a Roll back button afterwards. How to push a staging site to live without losing orders covers that day step by step.
Try it
The free Site Replica plugin backs up, clones and restores whole sites, with Roll back after every restore. Get it from the Site Replica page, and when you are ready to send a redesign live, the plans are on the Site Replica Pro page.
Every step of a send, from “What changed” to Keep or Roll back, is in putting a redesign live in the help centre.
Switching from All-in-One WP Migration?
Use the code SWITCH_AIOWM at checkout for 30% off Site Replica Pro, for as long as you keep renewing (new customers only). Codes don’t combine, and until 30 April 2027 the launch price, half off for as long as you renew, is the better deal, so the plan buttons on the Pro page apply that one for you.
