The data layer for Sunshine Coast Karate. Everything that is content rather than presentation lives here, so it survives a future theme change, and the other SCK plugins read it through one small API.
What it does
- Content types for locations, classes, closures, instructors, testimonials and FAQs, plus programs (with ages, benefit and photo) and audiences.
- Typed once, shown everywhere. The business name, address, phone and hours, and the member links, are Block Bindings sources: bind a paragraph, heading or button to them in the editor.
- Consent holds. A testimonial marked sensitive never shows until consent is confirmed. It replaced Thrive Ovation.
- Structured data for search engines: local business details, the logo and social profiles, which the old site didn’t have.
- A tidier front end. The admin toolbar shows only for people who can edit content, which replaced a separate plugin.
It is built for Sunshine Coast Karate rather than for release, so there is nothing to download. Moving off a page builder tells the story of the whole rebuild.
